Two finishes!

You may remember I spent a wonderful weekend stitching with Rachel and Ingrid a couple of weeks ago. We decided to have a couple of new starts each and I was thrilled to not only start but also finish one of mine!

Stitchers make the best friends
My Big Toe designs
Stitched on 32 count Fabric Flair Cloudy Lilac evenweave
with recommended Crescent Colors and GAST threads

This seemed an apt choice for my first new start as the chart and pansy buttons had been gifted to me by Rachel earlier in the year.

My second planned new start (Alice by Tralala) had to be substituted as the girls decided my fabric wasn't right and chose something much more appropriate which I have on order. So I chose this one instead...

The Town of Halloween by The Primitive Hare
Stitched on 32 count Halloween Mist Kiran evenweave by The Crafty Kitten
Using recommended DMC 310 and 3032

I finished this one on Halloween and was really pleased with it. I don't usually stitch primitive designs but the fabric really gives this an added dimension in my opinion. No idea how I will finish it yet but there's no rush!

Now what to stitch on next? Christmas ornies are calling to me!

Congratulations on your TWO finishes! Make sure you keep rubbing it in that you finished BOTH of your new starts within a fortnight!! It's a shame that the photos don't do the fabrics justice as they are absolutely beautiful, as is your stitching. I look forward to seeing then finished off, even if there is no rush! :)

They both look stunning! The pictures sadly don't do justice to the beautiful fabric you've used but still they are both lovely finishes, well done sweetie!
I wonder how you will be finishing them off, the possibilities are endless.

Oh wow, two finishes. That first has auch a nice saying and it is a very nice memory of your get-together with Rachel and Ingrid. And the second looks so gorgeous, it's a great Halloween design even for those who don't stitch primitive designs. Congratulations on both finishes.

Justin I received your package today. Thank you so much. Both my sister and I were admiring the friendship grows. I have it on my dresser. The charts I will defiantly use. Your kindness will be remembered. I am now a follower by email.
