Happy blogaversary to me!

It's my second anniversary of blogging today!  I can't believe it's only been two years.  Many things have changed in that time...

I have completed 53 projects in that time, the largest of which is this one which funnily enough was the first project I started after my blog began!

Cut Thru North Pole House
Bothy Threads

My stash has grown from a few skeins of DMC and a kit or two, and I needed to buy this cupboard to keep it in!

When I started blogging I had three projects "on the go", I now have 20 WIPs and UFOs, four of which are HAED size!

I have taken part in several exchanges and have been gifted with some very generous gifts, including lovely handiwork by other stitchers, all of which are displayed in my little craft room.

You can read my first ever blog post here.  I was thrilled that eight other stitchers commented on that post.  I now have over 200 followers and have made many many friends in the last two years, some of whom I have been lucky enough to meet in "real life"!  I truly appreciate all of you who read and cheer me on with my projects, and I enjoy reading all of your blogs too!

Anyway, to celebrate I am going to have another giveaway as they are so much fun!  All you have to do is leave a comment on this post.  No need to mention on your blog.  The prize will include something handmade by me and also some lovely bits for you to use in your own stitching and finishing.  No photos yet as I only realised today that it was my anniversary!

I will make the deadline next Monday 31st August to give everyone a chance to enter.  I will draw a lucky winner on that date.

Bonne chance everyone!

Until next time

Justine

    1. Linda I am still not getting any notification when you comment on my blog, but I do read your comments. Do you remember that you were my first follower and made the very first comment on my blog? I was amazed and so pleased as I had been following your blog and SoCal Debbie's for a while and you were my stitching heroes with all your WIPs! I started my blog mainly so I could join the Bothy Threads Cut Thru SAL that you used to do on a Monday. Happy memories.

  18. Happy blogaversary, Justine, and a happy belated anniversary, too!
Isn't it great how the WIPs and the stash grow and grow when you get seriously into stitching and blogging? And visiting all these blogs in blogland certainly helps a lot with it, lol.

No need to include me in the give-away as I have just recently received this wonderful little stitched pillow from you. Now someone else should have the chance.

Finding blogging really does make your stash and WIP pile grow, so many nice things to see and want to stitch yourself.

  25. Love your post! If I ever remember one of my blogoversary's (I think I just missed my 4th one but will check) I am definitely include a statistical update. Blogging has definitely made me into a wip rather than finish type of girl (+ hoarding of stash)... but then again I would have not had as many finishes either. And obviously would love to enter your giveaway. Happy anniversary!

  46. Oh I missed your giveaway! I have been a recipient of your kindness before so I think I would've passed anyway though your items are so lovely it would be tempting haha. Congrats on surviving two years with the blogging world. :D I think I had a somewhat larger stash as I hoarded so many (too many) thrift store finds before I found the stitchy blogs. Haven't had 53 finishes since starting though, congrats on that too~
