And the winner is....

The winner of my 2nd blogaversary giveaway was comment number 2 from...

Beth!

Beth if you could email me your snail mail address I am gathering together a few little things that I hope you will like and will hopefully be ready to post at the end of the week.

Here's a sneak peek of my handmade "creation" that will be included in your prize, if only I'd known you were going to win I'd have stitched it in blue!

I love having giveaways so I'm sure it won't be too long before I have another.  Thanks to everyone who entered and for all your good wishes on my second blogging anniversary.

I have been stitching my first ornie for the Christmas Ornie SAL hosted by Kaye of Kitten Stitching.  I didn't meet my own self-imposed target of actually finishing off the ornament, but I did finish the stitching by the end of the month which I am pleased with.  Our theme for this month was Father and/or Mrs Claus so I stitched both on this lovely CCN ornament..

Holly Jolly by Country Cottage Needlecrafts
Stitched on 32 count linen
with recommended Crescent Colors and DMC threads

I have also been doing a little bit of crochet.  I am making butterfly brooches for my friend to sell in aid of the local children's hospice.  Here's my first attempt...

It was quite fiddly but I'm pleased with the result and hopefully my friend will be able to sell them at our church to raise money for this great cause.

Until next time

Justine

  20. Aww what an adorable little butterfly! What did you use to make the antenna stay straight? My yarn would flop all over the place haha. I bet they'll make a bunch of money and help out so many kids~ :D

You've stitched such a great CCN pattern too! I complain about the holiday stuff showing up in stores already but don't mind the stitchy stuff at all! Hmm. :)
