Stash for Sale and a giveaway!

Hi everyone

I have been away from my blog for a while.  There was no particular reason.  I have been doing some crochet for a change and then some exchange stitching which I can't show you yet.  I've made no progress on any of my cross stitch projects old and new, and I'm ready to get back to them!

I have had a little sort out of my stash and have listed some items for sale on a new tab at the top of my blog - or follow this LINK.  Some of these are things I have stitched but mostly they are stash that I will probably never get round to stitching.  Please email me if there's anything you would like.  I am sharing any money made with the NSPCC so it's for a worthy cause.

On to my giveaway!

Well, actually it's two giveaways!

I have brand new copies of these recently published chart books to give away...

Ultimate Cross Stitch Volume 5 - Wildlife

Ultimate Cross Stitch Volume 6 - Fantasy

These are both lovely books containing over 100 charts each of various sizes.  The Fantasy book has designs by Lesley Teare, Gail Bussi, Maria Diaz, Lucie Heaton and of course several Joan Elliott fairies.  The Wildlife designers are less well known to me but include Pollyanna Pickering, Maria Diaz and Amanda Gregory.

I will also include a handmade thread catcher with each book.

There's no need to mention this on your blog - this is a giveaway for my loyal readers!  Please leave a comment below saying which book you would like to win, and I'll do a draw on Sunday 5th July to choose the lucky winners.

Good luck to all who enter.

Until next time (when I will definitely have some stitching to show you!)

Justine

  2. Hi Justine - isn't it great to part with a few things that aren't needed any more?! I'm sure the winners of the books will have some lovely stitching from them
(obviously I'm not entering the draw)

  3. What! No stitching? What have you been crocheting?

  4. I also know times when my stitching is on the back burner, lol. These are always good times to try and sort out some of the things that are not longer needed. I should do that as well.
The two books are looking great and I feel tempted but I already have enough in this field so please don't include me in the giveaway.

  18. Ooh crocheting! I keep wanting to pop back into it since I found about 30 crochet balls at a thrift store (lol) but haven't had the inspirational piece yet. What have you been crocheting? I will guesssssss... a teapot cozy! :D?

I thought about it, was tempted by it, but I will have to pass on your giveaways! Plus I'd never be able to choose. I like fantasy animals and wildlife animals haha. It will be fun to see what the winners make! :D

  23. Crocheting? I have been trying everyday since Friday and it's official now: I'm giving up on being able to make a granny or stripy blanket.... I find it gets too complicated & there is so much reading & tuto I can go through :( So back to my stitching! I am looking forward to admire on what has kept you busy :) Good idea with the giveaway. I am going to pass but I'm sure you'll make 2 happy stitchers :) x

  24. Lovely giveaway.I love the wildlife book!Anyway I tried crochet and made some amigurumi things some fish and a lovely elephant but I find it difficult counting whereas I don't mind counting in cross stitch. How do you explain that? I saw the link for your sales. Due to the situation in Greece I cannot buy anything but I wonder why you are selling Michael Powel's kit. I have stitched one of his designs and it looks gorgeous. It was a pattern on a magazine with the title Greek islands. It is so beautiful. In fact I stitched it twice, also for a friend. 25. I've not been very busy on my blog either so just catching up with all my favourite bloggers. My Alice charts arrived yesterday - just go to decide which one to stitch on this month!

The wildlife one would be my choice if I'm lucky enough to be a winner of your very generous giveaway.
