Debbie's Crazy January Challenge Day 12

Not a good start for Day 12...I discovered I was missing most of the required flosses for this one! Today's stitch is Spooky String by Lizzie*Kate. Here's my "progress":
Part of a pumpkin

And here's what it will look like one day:

That's all for tonight, folks! I'll be back tomorrow with a really pretty stitch...

Really pretty? You promise? lol Don't you hate it when threads you're sure you had take a "holiday" without your permission?

These Lizzie Kate strings are very popular. At least you've started this one in plenty of time for Halloween! Have you thought about using glow-in-the-dark threads to make it even spookier? :)

Lizzie Kate mi piace tantissimo!

It's so frustrating when you don't have the threads that you need to start a project. And sometimes you just want to use the recommended threads and not a substitution.

Great start again.

Do you have one of those special places that threads hide in till you've bought another one? I do! lol
That's going to be a fun project.

Wow you are doing so well on all these January Challenges! Debbie would be so proud that her legacy is being carried on in this way. I really love all your wips and especially this one as I love Halloween themed stitches. Good luck with the rest of them. xxoxx Alicia

Oh no. Sorry about the lack of threads. I hate it when that happens. At least you have a really adorable pumpkin.

Frustrating but I often find with Lizzie Kate charts I start with what I have and just sub DMC for the rest. I decided not to do any Crazy Challenges this year!

Lovely start Justine. I have the snowy one of these. It's very annoying when you can't find a thread!

O I like that one a lot. Great start.

o that pumpkin face! :3 has to be the best emoticon ever and to see it in a stitch is great. It's a bother not having the right flosses but I love buying new skeins and bobbinating them. Excuses, excuses. :D
